Vernon Herbert Reed (1871–1963) was a Liberal Party and then (from 1914) a Reform Party member of parliament in New Zealand.

He won the Bay of Islands electorate in the 1908 general election. His election in 1914, narrowly defeating Te Rangi Hīroa,[1] was declared void in 1915. He won the electorate again in 1917, and was defeated in 1922.[2][3]
He was later appointed a member of the Legislative Council, from 1924 to 1931.[2]
